According to sources familiar with the investigation, tylerb is allegedly the leader of the Scattered Spider hacking group, as reported by KrebsOnSecurity in June 2024. The activities of tylerb are primarily centered around SIM-swapping, a type of identity theft where the attacker convinces a telecommunications provider to switch the victim's phone number to a SIM card controlled by the threat actor.
