As a rapper, producer, and investor, Punchmade Dev has gained notoriety for his music that glorifies a cybercrime lifestyle, with tracks such as "Internet Swiping" and "Million Dollar Criminal" amassing millions of views. His music and online persona have been influential enough to warrant merchandise sales through a now-defunct online shop, which once sold branded t-shirts and other items. The artist's birth in October 2000, as the oldest child of a single mother of five, has also been documented by social media-focused YouTube channel @brainjuiceofficial. In January, KrebsOnSecurity highlighted the threat posed by Punchmade Dev, whose music videos often instruct viewers on how to commit financial crimes online. Some of these songs, like "Wire Fraud Tutorial," have been taken down from platforms like YouTube due to law enforcement complaints. Despite this, Punchmade Dev has leveraged his considerable following to continue selling tutorials on committing financial crimes online, even denying any affiliation with lawsuits filed against him via his Twitter account. Most recently, Punchmade Dev has been promoting his own online shop selling hacked bank accounts and payment cards with established balances. This shop assures customers of service availability via Discord and Telegram should there be any issues, indicating a possible team working on his behalf. The shift from music to direct involvement in cybercrime demonstrates an escalation in Punchmade Dev's activities, marking him as a significant threat actor within the cybersecurity landscape.
